Find events and exhibitions across London that explore culturally diverse history.

First choose the time span of your search:

this week this month next 6 months

Then choose which cultural group you want to search by. First choose a big area of origin from the continent list: then if you want to do a narrower search, choose from further options on the right-hand drop down.

NB. Not all countries of origin are listed here, because there are so many. If you want to search for a country not in the list, e.g. Benin, then use the general site search, which will find all references to that country on this site.

The Museum Of London's new microsite allows you to search for the story of the many cultures of London in their collections.

This image shows Sir Mancherjee Bhownaggree, MP for Bethnal Green 1895 - 1906. A supporter of British rule in India, he was nicknamed 'bow-the-knee' by opponents. However he also lobbied parliament on the rights of Indian subjects.
